My Life in Africa Reports

Before i joined life in Africa, life was not easy. I could not pay school fees for children, I used to have one meal and all that. Since I joined things have changed from worst to best. Schooling has become part of my children's life. We can afford two meals, health services and other necessities of life.

I now have steady income of at least shs.100,000 per month. I have also learnt how to make paper beads which is my major source of income.
Ayoo Jennifer is a life in Africa member. She was born in northern Uganda where she was forced to flee due to the insecurity. She lives in Acholi quarters. This is a place where the displaced people live here in Kampala. Through her stay in this place, she got to know life in Africa which she joined in october 2005. Before that she used to work in a stone quarry to earn a living.

After joining life in Africa, great changes have positively taken place in her life. She can now afford two meals a day, which remains a dream to most people in Kampala. She can even afford school fees for her two children whose father died in 2003.

With all this, she always kneels down to pray to God thanking him for life in Africa.
